Do you know why I love living right next to one of the most beautiful old towns in the whole of Finland, if not the whole world?
Because it doesn’t matter how many times I step foot on those cobblestone streets of Old Rauma, it always finds a way to surprise me. Every time I see something completely new, beautiful little details, that I have never noticed before. And I love it when it happens.
I had a little Christmas Day walk on those lovely streets of Old Rauma, ‘melting the ham’, as we tend to say in Finland. Even if the snow is still missing, the atmosphere was wonderful and Christmassy. Old Rauma, you did it again. You surprised me like never before!
This year has been full of awesome and unforgettable travels, and the approaching 2016 will start with the same way. You will find out more about my past and future travels shortly. Today’s topic is something completely different.
With these photos I want to thank you for sticking along all year long. With these photos I want to welcome you to the Christmas Day in Old Rauma – this is my Christmas card to you all! I wish you a very happy and delicious holidays, wherever in the world you are spending it!
