Hello there on the other side of the screen. Nice to meet you!

Hi, my name is Saana. I’m a travel and nature freak from Rauma, Finland. I have a passion for writing, and therefore I’m doing it for living. Some friends of mine also call me as ‘crazy cat lady’ (thanks for The Simpsons for that term). Most of my spare time I spend writing this blog, travelling, being in nature and playing football. And some other sports. Oh, and playing with those cats.

How about you? Who are you?

Blogging brings along some silly habits. Like staring at statistics. It’s fun and interesting to find out how many people have visited my blog today. Or yesterday. Or last month. Is it a lot or not compared to this month? Which countries do my readers come from? What do they like to read when they visit?

Unfortunately there’s no such stats that would tell what kind of people visit my blog. I feel that on some level I know the ones who are commenting actively. But most of my readers just read, without saying a word. It’s ok too.

Now I’m going to throw you a challenge. I challenge you to tell me a little something about yourself, your relation to travel and to this blog.

When you scroll down, you’ll find a comments section where readers can write their own thoughts. I would love to hear, or in this case read, who are you, right there, on the other side of the screen?

Where do you live? Did you find my blog by accident or do you visit often? Do you like to travel? If yes, where and with whom? Do you travel with low budget or rather stay in five star hotels?

Do you like being in nature? Could you sleep in a tent on a tiny island in the sea, or in the middle of a forest? Are you a dreamer like I am? Have you ever fulfilled any of your dreams?

Tell me. Help me to know you a bit better.

In case you rather keep your identity secret, I will help you out. You don’t have to leave your foot print on the comments section if you don’t want to. You can also answer this amazing survey that will take approximately one minute of your life. But it would mean a lot to me.

There are six short sentences that I’d like you to look at and select the most suitable answer. In most of them you can choose more than one option or write your own, in case you can’t find a matching one.

No, this is not my thesis. And I’m not nosy either. Ok, I am a little. But these questions I am asking purely because I want to get to know you a little better.

I also prefer writing stories that you like to read. I want you to enjoy my blog and that my posts would be useful for you. Useful on what way, it doesn’t matter. It could mean killing time. It could mean travel tips. It could mean laughing out loud at my silly mishaps (laughing helps you live longer). Tell me what it is. I promise to make an effort to provide exactly that, exactly for you.

    1. Glad you did it, it was my first time creating such poll! 🙂 But I thought it would be a good idea for this purpose, as people are not so eager to comment on posts, at least when they should share some personal information. I’ve got some great answers already and I’m very happy with the results this far. And the poll will stay open, so I will be following the answers and share some facts with you on the blog later on. Happy to have you following! 🙂

  1. Hei Saana!

Make me happy; let's get chatty! :)
